Expediente de Nacionalidad

The Nationality by Residence File service allows legal professionals to manage the nationality by residence of their clients.

This service arises from the Agreement signed between Consejo General de la Abogacía Española and the Ministry of Justice to enable legal professionals to electronically submit applications for Spanish nationality by residence on behalf of the interested parties.

The Bar Associations must adhere to the Agreement so that their members can use said platform, sending said signed adhesion to RedAbogacía. Subsequently, legal professionals must also adhere to said Agreement through the platform.

The Bar Associations adhering to the Agreement will issue a Collegiate Review Certificate that will accompany each application indicating that all the requirements demanded by the Dirección General de los Registros y del Notariado to obtain the acquisition of nationality by residence.

The legal professionals adhered to this Agreement and who process with their card ACA These files may be managed through the platform of the Consejo General de la Abogacía Española. The Colleges will review and collate the documentation that legal professionals manage electronically on behalf of their clients.

Once all the information has been collated and after its approval, the College through the platform will send all the documentation to the Ministry of Justice for the processing of the file.

In the platform a registration number of the Ministry will be generated in order to subsequently control the File on the Ministry's website.
