Asistencia a presos españoles en el extranjero

From the Foundation Abogacía EspañolaWe consider that prison legal assistance to Spanish prisoners abroad is a pressing need both because of the volume of cases and because of the harsh humanitarian conditions in which they sometimes find themselves. As advocacy, we feel responsible for putting our resources at the disposal of collaborative systems or structures that favor the right to defense of our fellow nationals imprisoned abroad.

In addition to the legal assistance offered in the country where they are detained, we are interested in their requests for transfer, pardon, repatriations in humanitarian circumstances; as well as to accompany and inform about their rights once they return to Spain as a means to facilitate their reintegration into society. Finally, raising awareness in our society as a preventive measure is also one of the pillars of our work.
