Quality journalism against disinformation

The XXIII edition of the Human Rights Awards recognized the effort to guarantee freedom of expression and truthful information. Iñaki Gabilondo, Reporters without Borders, the news agencies EFE, Europa Press and Servimedia received the awards at a gala held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes. Moroccan social mediator Mohamed Bouchammir Haddou was the winner of the “Nacho de la Mata” Award.

Disinformation, a serious risk to the health of our democracy  

The uneven and complicated fight against false news, the important role of the media, the new types of censorship, the limits of freedom of expression and the traps that technology hides for fundamental rights were analyzed in the VIII Congress of Human Rights from the Abogacía Española Foundation, which warned of the risk that disinformation poses for democracy.
