Mission

El Consejo General of the Abogacía Española is the representative, coordinating and senior executive body of the 83 Bar Associations in Spain and among its fundamental missions is to organize the professional practice of lawyers, ensure the prestige of the profession, demand that Bar Associations and members fulfill professional and deontological duties and work to achieve a more agile, modern and effective Justice.

Vision: Without lawyers there is no justice

El Consejo General is the voice of the Spanish Law, the permanent defense of the right to defense and human rights, especially of the most disadvantaged, at the service of the Associations, lawyers, citizens and Justice, understood as “giving to each one with their own".

A transformative, influential, opinion leader, with social projection, at the forefront of the implementation of new technologies and close to young people, future clients and future lawyers.

Responsible and defender of a public service like Legal Aid and Office shift which are essential in a Social and Democratic State and of Law to guarantee access to Justice and the rights of the most vulnerable.
